This topic comes by request of Kickstarter backer Michael Lee and brings industry vet Jaz Rignall into the mix to discuss the history of Rare. Please, enjoy. And I know some of you have been wondering about stickers, shirts, posters, etc. Those have encountered a small delay as we're still sorting out details with our vendor, but I expect to have everything shipped out by the end of the month. 2015-03-16 15:00:51 +0000 UTCCurious what the thoughts are about Playtonic Games. Podcast seems really timely in light of their emergence/secret project. Rare was one of my favorites in the 90s. Not afraid to say I liked Diddy Kong Racing a lot. I always wondered if Rare ever had grander ideas to produce more stand-alone games based on some of those other racer characters, like Timber Tiger.
