This one was actually one of the first we recorded for the new season but ended up being pushed back until now so we could get the Christmas episodes out to you in time for the holidays. It works out OK, though! It's a good follow-up to Episode 32, exploring an alternate facet of the question about series that fade away — including more elaborate explanations of some remarks we touched on in the last full episode. Episode description: Last time we talked about games that jumped the shark; here's the flip side of the conversation. IGN's Jose Otero joins us to discuss classic series that faded away not because of bad sequels but simply because time passed them by.

Good topic for this ep. I would also add Crash Bandicoot and the Strike games (Jungle Strike, Soviet Strike, etc) to this list. I also hated Super Pac Man at the arcades. Such a strange progression--I guess it is smarter to stay closer to the core mechanic.
