Added 2019-12-05 23:19:20 +0000 UTCA little something I did on the side for my lore site (slowly but surely it's coming along lol). For my original species, I wanted to do something like old zoological prints - high detail anatomy stuff. Very fun to line :D
I've got about half it's "wiki" page typed up and it's looking pretty good.
Here's a snippet of lore from the page for those interested:
"Physiology
Imps are an entirely male race of usually short, red skinned demons with notably large hands, two or more short horns, and skeletal faces. Many imps feature protruding vertebrae along their backs to a short tail. They have five fingers and toes, very prehensile and protected by thick skin. Some imps may feature a large dewlap along their necks.
Their heads are angular, with skin pulled taut against the bone with most muscle existing in their jaw. Sunken, beady eyes give them average vision and the large open nasal canal provides imps with an incredible sense of smell for finding sources of water and carrion. Their open mouths feature two rows of flat incisors useful for scraping meat from bone or their preferred food of choice: local cacti. Despite their teeth being rather sharp and their jaw strength strong, they do not use these for self defense, preferring magic instead. Within their throats are a series of tubes and flaps used for vocalization. When drinking, they often allow water to dribble from their gaping maws to cool their bodies."
