Added 2024-06-13 16:33:08 +0000 UTCYesterday, I had a consultation with an orthopedic specialist. After some testing and discussion, she determined I had carpal tunnel syndrome and cubital tunnel syndrome in both arms. The next step is to schedule an EMG (electromyography) to see the extent and severity of the nerve damage and decide on the best possible treatment plan. The EMG apparently involves sticking tiny needles into the hand to measure muscle response. So that should be fun. :O
Aside from that, I'm continuing to rest and brace. It was suggested to me that with cubital tunnel syndrome, I should try sleeping with my arms at my sides at night. Not exactly a comfortable sleeping position, as I've never really been able to fall asleep on my back. But I'm giving it a try. Also taking anti-inflammatory meds.
On a happier note, I have another art bundle for you. "Princess" is the theme this time. We have "Peachihime" from 2012, and a certain pirate princess taking care of her crewmates from 2013. See attached zip files.

Take all your time don't end up like some mangakas did when they didn't took care of their hands and can't use those after being 50 yo .
