Walk Through Hell + Prompt
Added 2025-04-09 23:59:05 +0000 UTCImages from today's video made with midjourney V7 and upscaled with magnific.ai which is also a paid program. V7 is the latest update to the paid image generator. This is the prompt used for most of the images, although V7 uses a personalization system so it will be different for every user:

Some images were also edited in photoshop prior to upscaling.
So how is midjourney V7? It's better for some imagery such as professional, clean shots and has better prompt understanding than before. For some imagery though, such as my crawling spine monsters, it's worse using the same exact prompt as in V6 because it no longer looks as scary and cursed although with enough prompting it can probably be achieved.

2025-05-27 17:19:50 +0000 UTCV7 does really well with the cinematic realistic looking shots, but when it comes to creative beauty, its a real shutdown. You try to hit any of the variations it just goes on and on making everything look exactly the same, its awful. You have to go to weird to make it work at all, so that the clothes dont stay the same for 50 variations, and theres this awful awful crinkly curly effect that ripples across the image and makes everything look like (gross) crumpled paper. Its a flaw. Theres such a beauty in how v5 and even v6 does things, and while v7 looks the most real, its creativity is lagging behind the previous versions by a long shot.
