this has been a painful but enjoyable journey for the fandoms LMAO and maybe the groups as well. round 3 was the hardest for me because we had to work so hard for streaming, it was really intense and stressful lol. but it was worth it for stray kids to come out as the winners. seeing them win made me miss hyunjin and I really hope he's back by time they do their reality show. all groups really did do amazing, and I've grown to love them. I entered kingdom only stanning 1 group and I left out with stanning 3. I really hope the bond they formed stays really tight. I dont think there'll ever be another unit like mayfly, they really became so close within those 100 days. we got such talented groups this kingdom, it was truly legendary. thank you for reacting to kingdom, it was really fun and entertaining to see y'all reactions to everything and thank you for continuing to support stray kids <3.

I hope I don’t get hate for this but I always knew that one of the newer groups would win specifically Stray Kids or Ateez. I’m not mad tho Stray Kids as well the other groups worked extremely hard so I would’ve been satisfied with either one of them. I just hate how the show literally made the groups doubt themselves or lose their confidence however, I truly can’t wait to see what the future holds for all six groups. Although this show was incredibly flawed, use the groups vulnerable/ lowest moments just to get views, and MNet is still a snake I still enjoyed the groups. Their hard work, their drive to do better, and of course their friendship is what made this show enjoyable. All groups are phenomenal and it makes me happy that they all know who they are and have confidence in themselves again. There will never be another BtoB, Ikon, SF9, The Boyz, Stray Kids, or Ateez; these groups are truly legendary and in a league of their own.

Some of the meaning behind ATEEZ's stage for anyone who's curious: The literal title of the song, 멋, translates roughly to "coolness" or "class." The word 멋 shows up throughout their stage. It's on the members armbands and it's written on the set in different places. And when Jongho walks by all the hanging mics, at first they just look random but when he gets to the opposite side you can see that the mics form the word 멋. This song/performance incorporates many Korean cultural elements (such as the instrumentals inspired by traditional Korean music and the lion dance at the end). In particular, the spoken lines throughout the song are different dialect versions of the sentence, "This is what real class is." San and Seonghwa say it in Gyeongsang-do dialect, Yunho in Jeolla-do dialect, and Jongho at the end says it in Seoul dialect. Wooyoung says, "Here comes the dance" in Chungcheong-do dialect. The members are each from these different regions (except Wooyoung - I think it's his father who's actually from Chungcheong-do). The intro is their song "The Leaders" but the Korean title, 선도부, means "student disciplinary council." They're students who are responsible for keeping order in school. Traditionally they'd wear armbands, so each ATEEZ member is wearing an armband that says 멋. The performance is set in a school, and you see Hongjoong standing up against bullies and delinquent students. 선도부 literally means people who lead others on the right path. So it connects with the lyrics of "The Real," which is all about how the more popular/successful you become, the more humble you should be. Throughout the stage you see different "class mottos" like you would see in a Korean school. During the cute puppet part, the letters say "real" and then they spin around and say "humble". So the class motto is that real coolness/class comes from being humble. When San is walking past the different signs, it says "class motto" again and each sign has lyrics from previous ATEEZ songs. The final motto is "humble and kindness", lyrics from "The Real" The part with Hongjoong in the field is representing the lyrics. His rap involves a play on the Korean proverb, "Even rice lowers its head the more it ripens." This means that the older/wiser/more successful you get, the more humble you should be. The dancers are wearing chicken heads probably because "chicken head" is an insult used in Korean for someone who is dense (kind of like "birdbrain"). Also the fan he's holding says "Welcome to my class" (also lyrics to "The Real"). Not sure if that's an intentional play on "class" as in classroom and "class" as in 멋, but it wouldn't surprise me.

Thank you for reacting to Kingdom and I always loved your guys’ reactions! It may not seem like it when watching the replay of this episode, but during the live, international fans were SO STRESSED OUT because the app we had to use for voting kept crashing! Mnet was even trending on Twitter because we kept calling them out for the potato voting app we were stuck with 🤦🏻‍♀️ This happened before when the intro performances were broadcasted (before kingdom started airing) and the app kept crashing so mnet had to extend the voting deadline 🙄 But as a Stay, I’m glad we were able to put our votes in in such a short amount of time so our bois could get the crown even though the process of it was so frustrating 😅 This was stressful for both the groups and their fandoms so even though we’ll miss the amazing performances and interactions, we’re glad we don’t have to deal with the constant stress of streaming and voting that Kingdom gave us Just a little FYI, the Final Songs are available on Apple Music and Spotify! 👍🏼 Also the final rankings of Kingdom were in the credits but they were in Korean 😅 If you go on Twitter, people have translated it and posted the final rankings with points.

This show was really stressfull overall for the groups and the fandoms, finally it's over. I'm so proud of my ult straykids, they're finally getting more recognition in Korea. Before kingdom i already knew about the other 5 groups and i listen casually to all of their music but now i got to know them better and i must say btob got my attention the most. happy this is over and i hope we don't have to face a competition like this again T_T

Surprisingly, I managed to vote just before it ended. I kept getting an error code up until then. Also, I know that with The Boyz being on Kingdom, you know who won Road to Kingdom, but will you consider watching it anyway? Road to Kingdom is full of amazing performances, and it'll show you the beginning of The Boyz journey.

Wow. I was trying to find what referenced the stealer. I’m so blind huhu. I’m was just overjoyed to see them perform so well. SF9 truly got better and better at each round and left me constantly in awe. As a longtime Fantasy too It was so satisfying to see peoples opinion change from “why are they here?” To “ Holy shit who are these guys and how are they so good?!” ^^

The fact that San an Seonghwa said they shouldn’t do a suit fit on Kingdom, The Say My Name floor cleaning choreo, Jongho and his apple.... Yunho and Wooyoung’s dance solo’s 🤌🏼 The kids from their immortal songs performance 🥺 The freestyles at the end. Yes Jongho pop off👏🏼 Yes San yeet that water over yourself 👀 Them going to the audience too. Also idk why but Hongjoong looked so tiny in that outfit. It genuinely made him look cute. I loved how they were each dressed and acted as completely different characters throughout the performance. Everything just screamed individualality and freedom to me. I love it. ^^ 2. SF9- Oooh. Shiny. ✨✨ First off. Their costume and set designer NEED A RAISE. Good lord the use of that single tunnel in so many ways was genius. I was in awe of how Fantasy’s holographic colour was implemented throughout the whole stage. The choreography throughout the whole stage was just *chefs kiss*. Its the most dance heavy performance they’ve done so far and it was magnificent 🥲 Zuho was hecking insane in his part. Those were some real final anime boss vibes coming off that man. The song itself too. Probably my favourite out of the Six. (I like all the songs but I feel like I need to be in a specific mood to enjoy them. However, I can 🕺Tak tak tak🎶 any time of the day ^^) The callbacks to their previous performances: - Youngbin with the Crystal representing Fantasy from the intro round. - Dawon and Inseong with the mirrors - The tree formations from Move The way the light reflected off Taeyang when he did that spin at the end and how his coat fringed out like that....😱 So freaking majestic. I loved how they just walked off at the end too like they were in some fantasy drama or something.... Bai Kingdom. It was fun. We’re goin’ home now. 3. TBZ - I seriously cannot get over their dance break. That has to be one of the cleanest most satisfying things I’ve seen EVER on stage in kpop. I like how they included some prerecorded stuff so that the members who couldn’t take part were still in the performance. Those water dance parts gave me very much “Baby don’y Cry” vibes and I loved it. I also felt like compared to all their other stages this one was the most focussed on them. It felt like ONF’s final stage from RTK a bit. There were no crazy props. Just them and their dancers. And it worked. 4. BTOB - The intro were Changsub is singing low. Holy crap I got goosebumps. This song really felt like an epic finale song. I was loving the white and mainly blue focus ( it’s so cool how BTOB, SF9 and iKON all styled their stages around their fandom colours. ) Annnd. Minhyuk. Wtf. His styling in this and in “Painting with Colours” should be illegal. My guy totally deserved that #1 visual halo ^^ 4. iKON - Their relaxed demeanor. The red. The song itself is really really good and they way they sang it made me want to march around my room like a soldier and then start dancing and breaking stuff 💀. I loved Bobby’s way of interacting with the camera. The cheeky smile before the chorus started and how he grabbed it too. DK was highkey giving me GD Fantastic Baby era vibes with that hair hehe. 4. SKZ Chan totally reminded me of a bat in that first scene lmao. Their energy was so great during the performance. I’ve really come to appreciate how masterful SKZ are at dedicating themselves to a concept. I finally got the kinda Changbin rap I was wishing for so I was over the moon about that. ^^ I am so happy at all the attention Seungmin has been getting for his vocals lately.

I really love how they only announced the winner instead of also announcing 2nd-6th place. That way the group that placed 6th wouldn't have to feel disappointed. I would say that it was one of the only good decisions mnet did for the show!

Congrats to straykids ♥︎ I just want to salute the insane climb of tbz The Boyz & Deobis we did so well 1 in the charts 1 for the final round And 2nd overall When tbz was last, I'm so proud of us and so happy that it litteraly feels like we won AND WE ARE FINALLY FREE FROM MNET AFTER 16MONTHS The Boyz showed their Kingdom 🤧📢 Their performance is just.... on another level and they did so well to include Younghoon & Haknyeon who are injured Please look forward to them in the future coz afterall they are also the future of kpop 💖 Also lmao Karma is real 🤣 litteraly after the broadcast the producer of Kingdom was fired 😌💅

SF9's performance was so beautiful and there was so much meaning behind it. They incorporated many moments from their previous stage, like the beginning with Hwiyoung holding Yoo Taeyang by the throat (Round 1: Jealous performance), Youngbin refusing to take the crown and the chessboard (Round 2: the stealer), but taking the gem (Intro round), the human tree behind Yoo Taeyang and Hwiyoung (Round 3: Move), Hwiyoung looking at his watch (Intro performance), and the ending where they stand in a line, they are in the same order as they did for the introduction stage, but this time with Rowoon walking in the center, to show that even if he wasn't able to perform with the rest of the guys, at the end they are still one. And the song when they turn their backs and walk is also a reverse version of their introduction stage. An other thing in this performance, is that the gem that they used for the intro stage and for this Believer performance is the same shape as the Jigubong (our fandom light stick), the tunnel they walk in is also in this shape, and the color of this tunnel, is the Fantasia Hologram which is our fandom color. I loved that The Boyz and iKON were waving SF9's light sticks during the Believer performance, but SF9 were also waving their Konbat during iKON's performance. Their friendship is so lovely I hope that will have more content with those groups. I was so happy to see Inseong reunite with Seungbin, I miss seeing my We kpop MC together. And I'm glad that you liked their song Believer. SF9 is the only group of the many groups that I stan whom I skip no songs, their discography is spotless. I hope you'll dive more into SF9 as a group and into their songs. And get ready because after almost a year they will finally have a comeback in the beginning of July.
