Nct world 2.0 helped me a lot because I didn’t really know some of the wayv members. You can find it on YouTube and watch it on your own if you like or react to it ☺️ there’s 8 episodes and they have parts to each episodes like they did with ikon tv . Plus it has all 23 members! So it’s fairly new ☺️

Sommer Rae

i would say the best way to learn all the names is to focus on leaning them by their units (127, dream, and wayv) instead of learning them by the age order in this video. it feels less overwhelming when you split them up.

Zaynab

can you guys react to Nct Dream Dive into you and Rainbow they will comeback with an album on the 10th of this month:) the are like preview to the songs in the album:))

This guide is a little outdated. Be sure to check out some of the other guides after that were mentioned above. To clarify some of the information that is no longer accurate in this guide 1. Johnny is now part of NCT U. He was in multiple songs in the NCT 2020 Resonance albums. Also yes, Johnny's communication center is mostly in English and it's just some cute vlogs and activities Johnny does with the members. 2. Taeyong now has a SoundCloud that he made where he is putting his produced songs for us to listen to. You should definitely check it out because he just released a collab with Baekhyun called Monroe. 3. Winwin debuted in NCT 127 and has been there since the beginning. When WayV was about to debut, then they stopped including Winwin in NCT 127. He was not only featured in just 1 NCT 127 song. Although even though he was in NCT 127, he didn't have many parts so we never got to hear him much anyways. 4. Kun was featured in the NCT U Chinese version of without you in 2016. Then he has no promotions until they finally put him in NCT 2018 because he, Lucas, Winwin, and Ten were the only members that were revealed from WayV at the time. I guess he was locked up but not really. They just didn't have a unit for him yet and when they did, he was helping them until WayV finally debuted. Kun is still part of NCT U though. Basically everyone is part of NCT U and are active members because of the NCT 2020 comeback. They just might not be chosen because they don't fit the concept according to SM. 5. Yeah, the members really like to roast Doyoung and make fun of him. He was recently in a drama and in it he says the line "Seuka Seuka" and now the members kept making fun of him for it. 6. Lucas reminds me a lot of Jackson from Got7. They are both from Hong Kong and have that distinct raspy rap voice. They are also both loud and silly but have a serious side too. They also were on a couple episodes of a Chinese show together which was really fun to watch. 7. Mark is in literally every single unit in SM. He's in 127, Dream, U, NCT 2018, NCT 2020, and SuperM. The poor boy during NCT live performances at the end of the year. He has to perform in literally every song and doesn't get a break unless WayV is performing. No Mark is the only Canadian in NCT lol, not sure where you heard the multiple Canadas being mentioned. 8. Lucas was talking about if he has debuted in NCT Dream it would have been a really funny group since he is so tall and the other Dream members are shorter. So he would have looked like a huge tree, while the other members would have looked like tiny flowers next to him. He didn't debut in Dream despite being their age and training with them because SM didn't think he fit their cutesy concept in the beginning, but Lucas really wanted to debut with them. He doesn't talk about being in Dream that much these days now that he's part of WayV and got to officially debut. 9. Also yes the Dreamies are NCT Dream members. Poor Mark. He's the leader of Dream and the Dreamies don't like to listen to him. But the members still baby him. Chenle calls Mark his son and is constantly calling him cute. 10. Jaemin really likes to volunteer and help people. There's a whole program where he and Jeno helped a poor Indonesian kid. It's also how SM discovered him, doing volunteer work. Also you guys talked over the part so I'm not sure if you heard, but Jaemin used to drink lots of coffee with lots of expressos but fans were concerned for his health. Since he loves us so much and didn't want us to be concerned, he changed his order and started drinking less. 11. There's some SM rookies show that show predebut NCT mostly the NCT 127 and Dream members, but that's where the clips of the really young Dream members are from where they are teenagers at the age of 14-17. I believe the clips are still on their Youtube channels. 12. As you mentioned the Dream concept is very cool. But they did have a graduation concept. We literally watched these 7 boys grow up from when they were literal babies which is why it really upset fans when Mark graduated from the group. We were also sad because then the 2000 line would have graduated and then Dream would have only been a 2 membered group and then soon would no longer exist when they all graduated. We are really glad SM changed it and added Mark back to the group since we have grown up and loved these boys even though we were clowned for a bit. 13. The Dreamies are probably the most savage ones. Literally no one is safe. Also their first full length album comes out soon. May 10th!! 14. Fun fact, when the 2000 line became adults, he bought them all apple watches. The kid is loaded.

Gigi Lai

Yes as someone mentioned before, you should definitely watch NCT World 2.0. In the first couple of episodes, you get introduced to all 23 members and they each get screen time because they all have different missions they have to accomplish. You will also get introduced to some inside jokes too and really get to know the members personality through the show. There's not that many episodes, but I feel like it's a good first introduction. Then you can move onto NCT Life or other content on their Youtube channels to get to know the members based on their unit.

Gigi Lai

I suggest you to subscribe to all their youtube channel because they drop contents every two or three days. And you can also react to them on youtube because they won't be blocked. It will be helpful to know them .

Giada Mattiucci

I see you like that Ten and Lisa part. You can check out Ten's instagram post, he posted a short dance with Lisa. Well...it just broke the internet coz they're insane dancers. I recommend you watch NCT World 2.0 to get to know them more. All 23 members are there and it's a really fun show Link: https://ww3.kissasian.ai/drama/nct-world-2-0-episode-1

백현 Iheart

Hi, how often will you post about nct? I mean the schedule like what you did for other group 😊 Love your reaction!

Ashimah Ashamudin

You guys can also watch nct 2.0 to get to know the members better

Josy

I really enjoyed whatching you struggling ahahah. I'm so happy that you are going to whatch also the other guides, this will help you a lot.

Giada Mattiucci

Someone else said it, but I think checking out their 24 Hour Relay Cam series from 2021 is also great to help put names to faces! Each member had an hour slot (1 member had 2 hours) throughout the day to film their daily life, it's pretty interesting.

sierra's reaction corner

lao gan ma has a 2021 version of the wayv guide now :)

sierra's reaction corner

Also just to prevent any confusion or issues, yeah WayV members can be in NCT U songs and other units. There will be some overlap of members, so you'll see some of them multiple times. I definitely recommend their whole Resonance album from 2020, which had all of them together! It's a great way to see a little bit of everybody and their different combinations. And the songs are amazing.

sierra's reaction corner

It's always easier to learn the members by unit so I would recommend these guides for each unit: *A Subpar guide to NCT 127 by Softjun *A Subpar Guide to NCT Dream *take two* by softjun (It is important to do the "take two" version as it has the updated info of the unit since it's concept has changed) *(un)Helpful guide to wayv 2021 by Lao Gan Ma *an unhelpful guide to Sungchan and Shotaro by cherryverse (this guide is for the two new members who were added to NCT in NCT 2020 and are not in any other unit guides. It has outdated/very little info on them as people as it was released when the members were just announced and us nctzens had very little info on them but it will help you know the basic info and maybe help you put a name to their faces)

Cat R

Patiently waiting for NCT Life Reactions

Razmina Ali

Oh man, I really felt your struggle lmao it might not have been best to do it all straight through, but honestly you did great! You'll learn them soon don't worry! Just a correction, you kept saying Q for Kun, I think because his last name is Qian, but his name is Kun lol I also recommend starting their music soon because it is easier to learn them by units then also watching one of their shows NCT World 2.0 here on Patreon. I'm excited! This is gonna be a fun journey for sure, you're gonna love NCT and their music. Plus, they're hilarious.

sierra's reaction corner

well i’m not surprised you’re overwhelmed lmao, after watching this i am too :’) i know this was suggested to you, and it was most recent and it was a good starter, i really recommend checking guides specific to the units. i would say about 75% of all of ncts content is very unit specific? meaning 127 usually stays with 127, dream with dream, wayv with wayv etc. ofc while they’re all friends and a lot of their content does cross over between units, they usually stay in their units. so i think learning names and sticking them to faces is so much easier to do when you’re learning the units separately rather than one big guide like this, because the info will never stick

natalie

for the first patreon thing, you could do NCT World 2.0, since that has all 23 members, and then you can do the other variety stuff they have out there after, if you wanted to have a video of literally just that member and watch that, you could watch the NCT 2020 24H Relay Cams. Every member had a video and I think you could watch that too.

Elizabeth Seravello

if you need individual series' to get to know them better i recommend for each unit: 127: hit the states https://youtu.be/xoj0raUWVpg brklyn boys https://youtu.be/L0vD7bncFoU dream: 7illin in the dream https://youtu.be/HPRw1XRNQE8 wayv: dream plan https://youtu.be/hqUlNL-Q3Fs wayvision season 1 & 2 https://www.dailymotion.com/playlist/x6wj1n

Katelyn

Also a nct 127 guide I love is https://youtu.be/mhyl1t5RE9w it's in a video game style and it's more up to date. The only thing is they don't include winwin but it's fine

Shana

I'm soo happy you guys are doing this. Please also add a Stay & Nctzen teir many are a fan of both and they collabed before too. I would also suggest to start with the NCT 2020 Resonance Album because it includes everyone and it's the most up to date. That way no one is left out in the beginning of ur journey and u can check out the 6 MVs plus 2 mini track videos on YouTube and the two part album on patreon. And you can check out their bts of their recordings as well as their live stages. That way everyone gets attention. And then you can start from the very beginning of when the units first started.

Shana

Individual guides for each subunit is better. Basically, NCT currently has 23 members. It has subunits. So NCT 127 is a fixed unit (leader Taeyong). NCT U is a rotational unit so different members come together once in a while to sing a song that suits them. NCT dream is a fixed unit now and it's for the younger korean members. Wayv is the chinese unit. Taeyong is the leader of NCT as a whole. Every two years, they all come together to do a project and release songs/albums e.g., NCT 2018 and NCT 2020, so the next one is likely to be NCT 2022. I hope that makes sense. It took me less than a week to learn everything, it's not that complicated as it seems but of course, take your time with it.

Mia

i don’t know if you figured it out as i’m writing as i’m going, but winwin was a member of nct 127 up until the end of 2018. he was a fully active member, but always got the short end of the stick basically (barely any lines, few centre times, sometimes you’d barely even notice him in an mv he had such little screen time), and in 2019 he debuted in the new subunit wayv and is now a fully active member in wayv. the reason they call winwin a “non active nct 127 member” is because SM never gave an official statement to say that he was leaving 127 for wayv. but considering he has not been in any song, dance, group activity or promo with 127 AT ALL since he got moved in 2018, i think it’s pretty safe to assume he’s no longer in 127

natalie

Yaaaaaaaas nct on patreon :D you're in for a ride. Once you get to know the members more you should react to nct world 2.0 where all 23 members play games and stuff

Guys I'm so happy that you are reacting to NCT, I love your Patreon content I now I like it even more! Love u!

Lu

fyi: this guide is from last year, however at the end of 2020 we had the nct 2020 project where once again all (23) members came together. and on that album every member was on at least one nct u track so now the distinction between nct u members and non-nct u members is pretty useless xD

Melina W

yes wayv can be included in nct u songs! wayv are a confirmed sub unit of nct just without the actual ‘nct’ in the name and they participate in all ot23 things. obviously wayv debuted in 2019 so there isn’t much content of them with the other units yet but there will be more in the future
