I forgot how tense the Minho Seungmin episode was ๐, even tho they still have the โdivorced couple conceptโ I donโt think itโs like that anymore, especially since they have a schedule together every week, but omg that felt weird to watch again ๐

2021-03-05 14:42:12 +0000 UTCI don't know if you've heard about it but in the last 2 weeks around 20 korean celebrities, Idols as well as actors have been accused of school bullying/violence and unfortunately so was hyunjin. Jyp ,,investigated'' and talked to the alleged victims, classmates and teachers of hj. And they came to the conclusion that it wasn't bullying but more so regular fighting and arguing between middle schoolers. Classmates defended hyunjin and his teacher even came out with a lengthy statement about how the class enviroment and atmosphere was toxic and all the students were caught up in and influenced by that and so it's unfair for hyunjin to take all the blame of the fights they had just because he is now famous. So it was bascially all totally blown out of proportion by the accusers and from a western perspective this whole thing is quite ridiculous, having to own up to regular middle school fights 8 years later... But unfortunately in Korea they view those things a little differently. Over there no matter the degree of their actions, it all falls under the same category. Meaning everything from arguing and cursing at each other, to stealing other students belongings, to forcing other students to buy you things, to straight up violence and even sexual assault all fall under the same category of bullying without any differenciating. So, even though all hyunjin did was argue with other kids in middle school, like probably almost any and everyone of us have, and even though his classmates and teachers defended him,in the eyes of the 'k netizens' he is still a bully. Which lead to him getting insane amounts of hate and even people requesting for him to leave the group Therefore hyunjin met up with the accusator personally, and they cleared things up and made up. And he even wrote a handwritten apology in which he apologised to anyone he might have possibly hurt with harsh words in the past. Because these k netizens for the most part just care about hating and not about any actual issues, they usually forget about things pretty quickly. So jyp decided to put hyunjin on hiatus for the time being to just get him out of the spotlight for now. And that is also why they postponed skz code, They don't want to post any content with him right now to make sure k netz focus their attention on something else now.
