Back at it for 2023!

Thank you for all your messages, support, and patience! This is a much more positive post than the past few—I am almost fully recovered now, and already feeling better than I have since last June.

And that means I'm finally back to doing activities with my kids (we did an art hike and the zoo last weekend), researching topics for new videos, and I'm back into production mode!

January's always a rough time for views on YouTube, and that plus the pause in production due to surgery meant my income from ad revenue and sponsorships was less than half what it was the past few months. But thanks to your support on Patreon, I didn't have to worry so much (that is a huge relief when you're already dealing with little complications during recovery!).

And February is shaping up to be a great month! There's one video—working title is "I plugged a computer into my graphics card"—that I've wanted to do for a year now, and finally had the time to work on late in recovery. I got to work with Mirek (who made the MirkoPC) and some of his friends to design a unique Compute Module 4 carrier and—well, you'll have to wait to see more :)

P.S. As a little bonus, I got a copy of MagPi (pictured above) a couple weeks ago and got to see some of the very fun Pi projects I've featured in 2022. Here's to the rest of this year!
