Future changes to prevent theft (please vote)!

So there's been some thieves that show up, download content and leave without paying. I thought this problem was more commonplace a couple years ago but apparently it's still a thing. I need to make some changes to prevent this and as far as I know, there's two methods I can take:
1) Send rewards through messages and move the backlog. Basically I'll DM everyone with the usual Dropbox link once I update. This will require me to remove the backlog and it'll be accessible through Gumroad. I will make a new Patreon tier that will give you a large discount on Gumroad, for any patrons who missed out. This won't require me to change my upload cycle.
2) Switch to monthly update cycle with immediate payment required. This will make it so any new Patron is charged immediately. This solves the issue with theft but it does require me to update once a month. One of the reasons why I've been so resistant to monthly updating is because my living situation sometimes drags me away from the computer, as I've been moving a lot. I can pause it but I hope it's okay with you guys if I have to do that, in case I move again. Another reason is that if I choose this method, it'll be permanent and I will not be able to go back to the previous "by-update" cycle ever again. It sucks and I don't know why it's irreversible.
Anyways, let me know what would be easier as a patron. Otherwise I can chose ^_^ I just don't want to lose any of you, in case one of these options is very undesirable and cumbersome.
