A year ago today, a spark took flight,
In the form of Ginger, glowing bright.
With orange curls and eyes of blue,
She danced to life, because of you.
A freckled smile, a heart so kind,
A character born from your brilliant mind.
She wandered into our world with grace,
And left soft joy in every place.
Though silence now fills much of the air,
And days slip by with fewer words to share,
My heart still holds those chats we knew—
The laughter, the warmth, the you shining through.
We’re oceans apart, yet not too far,
For we both look up at the same twilight star.
And in that moment, I feel you near—
Scarlet, my friend, so cherished, so dear.
Thank you for Ginger, your art, your light,
For painting love into DeviantART’s night.
Even when voices begin to fade,
The memories bloom, the friendships stay.
So here’s to the girl in the blue-toned dress,
To the images you shaped, the hearts you blessed.
I miss you more than words can say,
