Condy has absolutely changed since Riptide EP.1 and Jay is probably my favorite character. She has alot of depth, and is the glue that keeps everyone together. The continuation of Chip and Gillian without her is gonna be a WILD ride lol

2024-12-21 17:25:36 +0000 UTCFor the melted cheese conundrum cause the sidebar got me invested too. - You can leave the cheese out so it reaches room temperature before even assembling. - Put a lid over the pan so it creates a warm room instead of a hot surface (not too long cause condensation could sog up the bread) - Shred it so it heats up faster

It’s interesting to see the difference in approach for a DM vs someone writing a traditional (non-TTRPG) show. The “why” rabbit holes can sometimes feel aimless and meandering to me so choosing rabbit holes based on immediate precedence is something I should try to implement. That way I can mentally wander with purpose! Also, I’ll have to check out obsidian, it sounds interesting so thanks for the suggestion!

Riptide was really the first I had ever listened to a dnd campaign after I got pulled from another podcast from a promo lol. That first episode of riptide captured my mind and was so insanely interesting that I could not stop listening and haven’t left since. I went from not a single ounce of dnd content ever consumed to being caught up constantly on every single piece of material you all release. I know the scale of world Grizz started with was difficult and he might feel he bit too big of a bite but that’s what captured me and possibly many others. I think he learned an incredible amount in a much shorter time too which was fun to be a part of.
