Also still shout out to Everett vs Alf. I'm not even kidding when I say that fight is one of my favorite fights on this podcast period. The friggin bkajcisnfksodnsj acting is so goddamn good.

2024-09-09 05:47:22 +0000 UTCso you're telling me that Mery was not only kinda spittin facts but also eating the moon WOULD HAVE WORKED and would have gone LIKE SHE INTENDED and wouldn't actually spell the death of all humanity, but would actually work out in the end and bring the end to human monster war????? head in hands, i wonder if the characters (looking at you Lucia) would have done things differently if they knew that i kinda had a feeling that Mery's plan wouldn't have worked even if they manager to succeed, bc like how the hell would she or any of the previous monster kings know what the fuck happens when you eat the moon and what kind of consequences that will have on the world, plus i thought her going for the moon was a red herring because all this time the magic was described to be originating from the stars also it's very funny to me that Grizz can not escape his "this already happened in an anime" curse because the first thing i thought of when hearing Mery's description was dungeon meshi, like hmm, a blond girl with a human top half and a dinosaur/dragon bottom half? that sounds vaguely familiar lul anyhow, banger campaign, bander acting from everyone, and i hope Condi doesn't get a noise complaint <3

2024-09-08 18:40:06 +0000 UTCso, so, so phenomenal. incredible. you somehow condensed a massive story into such a short campaign, but it didnt lose its impactfulness in the least. grizzly’s voice acting was so good, and so was everyone’s, actually. all the npcs had their own unique personalities and motives behind their actions, and all felt like fleshed out real people. bebo played everett so well, and he felt like such a complex character despite what he seemed to be in the first few episodes. such an interesting character too. condi’s screams were top tier, (more of that please) and jin was so powerful? both game-wise and roleplay-wise. some spectacular dialogue. milo played lucia incredibly too, she had strong beliefs and stuck with them until the very end and she was oh so admirable!! her reactions to everything felt so raw and. the family lore… my baby… everyone absolutely smashed it and i think it couldn’t have gone better!!! this is actually a wonderful execution of a mini campaign. so cool 😿the plot was crazy. okay im done now but that was crazy insane awesome‼️

You've finally got to do a serious campaign with high emotional impact, and I hope Riptide reaches the same quality. (...I'm both scared and curious) To Bizly and Condi: You really popped off on your acting! Honestly, you both should join Grizzly in his VA venture! To Milo: You...did...ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL! Your acting was on par with both Bebo and Condi. I'm glad that they pulled you on for this campaign, and I hope the JRWI boys pull you on for more campaigns or one-shots.
