He’s tortured himself with the notebook for decades, he’s resolved that by killing his sire, but that doesn’t mean it’s not eating away at him. Then, he went home in hopes of more comfort, only for it to go horribly wrong. Maybe he rid himself of his appearance as a reminder of what he did to his family, or maybe he did to separate himself from his family. Either way, this is his new “notebook” and it’s something everyone can see. He doesn’t need to fit in to find his sire anymore, and home isn’t a place he even thinks he can go now, his appearance is the only thing he can hurt without completely breaking himself or endangering those around him.

It seems he was trying to make himself human again at one point, and now be seeks to destroy all vampires. I see Arthur as hating all vampires, hating himself for being a vampire and thus he truly values humanity. Idk what happened bc griz values appearance but I don't think Arthur does very much. He's never drawn attention to it it's just been part of him. Idk ig it connects him to his father but I still think it was unnecessary. Arthur has lost alot of power in social situations bc of the "stoic gaze" being kinda based off him being beautiful. Not happy but oh well

I just really hope he gets a happy ending, whatever it means for him. although that doesn't seem very likely 3. very curious about shilo and emizel's whole origin story. what is the ritual? why is emizel in LA? is the person we met in episode 1 actually his dad? ugh it's so interesting. emizel WOULD be a murderous little fucker even before being born 4. i can't fucking believe this campaign now has both edward twilight and taylor lautner the werewolf. I hope he comes back as a major character
