FINALLY CAUGHT UP ON PD WOOOOOO NOW SPOILERS FOR THE EPISODE The parallels between these two fights tho— cause Dakota is trying to explain to Mark how, while saving Ashe is important, hurting others isn’t the way to do it. And then William Fuckin Wisp is trying to take down Xavier to save both himself and the innumerable amount of people that could be helped with the samples they took from Allan. I’m so excited for when this all finally boils over and Dakota finds out, especially after the line “I don’t care if William and Vyncent want to be heroes, or vigilantes, or normal fucking dudes, I’m just happy to be with them” because p a i n and Wiwi getting what he deserves. He’s an amazing character and Charlie plays him so well, but goddamnit I’ve wanted to kick him into another dimension for a while now.

Am I the only one who feels like Dakota is super ironic, the way he complains about people being brick walls on arguments. But he's also basically never wavered on his opinions and beliefs and expects everyone to meet his beliefs. The only time Dakota has ever really bent was when he let Allen get away with murder, but I feel like that was purely under the guise that Allen had pure intentions and no real ill intent.
