Hi Ralph and Shamonda! Looked like your starting to get invested in the show! The first 19-20 minutes was a recap of the season so far basically. I won't waste too much time recapping the recap but 1 thing I noticed this time that's important and I think it may have been the 1st time it was stated clearly was that when Julie was on the OPA ship with her Belter crew members, on of her crew members said something like, don't worry their just scientist on that ship, but Julie said " if they work for my father, they will be prepared to fight." And that's exactly what we saw. So far all that we know about Julie's family is that they are rich and her father is powerful. So when Julie and her crew were fighting the Scopuli's crew that lady who seemed to be in charge told them not to kill Julie, she was a complication, just to lock her in that room until they figured out what to do. Holden's crew was looking for Lionnel Polanski, Fred Johnson gave them that clue and told Holden that finding Lionnel Polanski and her ship would help him solve who blew up the Cantabury. Holden figured out they were looking for the same person when Miller saved them after the shootout in the hotel lobby. They compared notes and put things together. Shamonda asked why everyone had pictures of Julie. Because she was a missing person. And her powerful family was trying to find her. That was how Miller got involved with her, he used to work on the security team or police and he was given the job to find her. But he became obsessed with her IMO. That is why he was constantly going back to her apartment and why he took things to keep like her necklace. Even after Miller was fired, he still wanted to find Julie and rescue her. It feels like he fell in love with her, but I feel like it goes even further than that, like maybe in his head he connected rescuing Julie with proving his own value in life.? IDK The man Christian Avasarala met with was the husband of the man she screwed over to get the info she needed, and the man killed himself because Avasarala used their relationship to make him trust her ( he knew her as a kid and worked with her father). He ended up losing his entire career and was deemed a traitor. Avasarala again used her ties to that man to then get into his house to steal info. At this point I don't know how to feel about her. But I guess if you live in a nation, you want your politicians to due everything they can to ensure the safety of your country? No one can say Avarsarala isn't 1000% willing to ensure the safety of Earth I guess. Did you notice the difference between Avasarala's reaction to Fred Johnson's message versus Errenwright? It is feeling like the UN has it's factions also and that Avasarala and Errenwright might end up being at odds. Good catch Ralph! I didn't catch that the lady scientist said something about Mars v Earth being a set up. Any ideas on who might be behind it? Something that came up again was that the "contamination stuff", feeds off of energy. When Holden's crew first explored the Scopuli and found that the door to the energy core was cut into from the outside because the door had been locked. Everything had been turned off, and when Naomi saw it seemed to be coming alive after she turned it on when they entered the core, she realized they needed to turn the energy core back off. Then to this episode after Julie was infected and was in the hotel room, we saw her looking at all the electronics and then she started breaking them all to turn off the power going to them. Now to the very end of this episode, all those people where on the ground in that shelter then the strong pulse of radiation went over them and got Holden and Miller. Holden tells Miller that they will die but what about those people on the ground? I'll leave it there, but are yall getting more into it now? I think I remembered the 1st season more than anything, but maybe it's only when I watch each episode again I remember a few things. I have a few questions for anyone who can answer with out giving a spoiler. I was confused about all the messages Julie was sending out after she was captured on the Scopuli and then even in the hotel maybe. It looked like she was calling Dawes, she was working with Dawes's faction of the OPA, BUT Fred Johnson was the one who gave Holden that info that there was something to find on that asteroid. Do we find out later why Dawes never answered Julie's messages, and how Fred knew there was something to find on that asteroid? If those answers come later just let me know. Thanks!

I'm already looking forward to your eventual rewatch once you guys realize exactly how good things get down the line. There's a lot of groundwork laid in this first season that it's natural to miss on a first watchthrough, but once you know everything there is to know, rewatching these early seasons will be a completely new experience.
