What if... What if the real Khanin actually died with his mother, the two babies were swapped, the current Khanin is the biological son of the Blue Shark King, and Khanin's grandfather needed him for some weird power play? The DNA tests could have been manipulated. I thought the punishment scenes were flashbacks. The two boys are dressed more like schoolboys. That would explain why Paytai has no injuries. Or maybe I'm totally wrong today.🙃

When Paytai mentioned his muscles being sore I was about to make a sex joke in my head but then that flashback showed and my jaw was on the floor omfg. The NC scene was so good. The music was beautiful and I loved that moment of Ramil holding the whip and how he got reminded of Paytai getting punished, so he stopped using it. Very nice touch. The king is kinda sus ngl I don't trust him. Ohh so that man's child passed away? I wonder what happened.. I liked how this episode showed more of the people giving us something more realistic since so far we've only seen a more fairytale like story. Yeah it's really crazy to me how behind they are when it comes to equality for women. Trueee I wish Paytai had scars. Those moments shown this episode were flashbacks I think?, but what I would've done if I worked on this was Paytai has scars on his back (since it has happened throughout many years, so he must have had some) and when Ramil thinks about it and stops with the whip he leaves kisses on his scars. Lol I agree Calvin is kinda bland right now I hope we get to see more of his personalty.

Since nobody was allowed to hit royalty, they’d hit the whipping boy to make the prince feel guilty and (hopefully) learn his lesson. It’s a real historical concept but also shows up in books and movies a lot. So I think that paytai is a whipping boy that would explain why he gets punished instead of ramil
