Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation

I watched the first 11 episodes yesterday and I'm honestly on the fence if I should upload the reaction to it or not. I'll be frank in saying that I rated this anime 3/10, possibly one of the lowest scores I've ever given an anime.

In the first season (11 episodes), it focused so much on the author's own sexual desires that it put character development, world building and story on the side burner.

I admit, I went into it with the wrong mindset, since it was recommended as a mature isekai that does justice to the genre. Needless to say, I was met with possibly one of the worst writing I have personally laid eyes on and that says a lot from someone who was able to watch redo healer.

So I'm not sure it's something I should upload, because my reaction is pretty much:

• dogshit writing

• inconsistent behavioral pattern

• author's a sexual creep that displays an array of fetishes using a child's body for it

• MC's neet portrayal is that of a sexual deviant

• commenting on the pedo behavior that happens way too often

• arguing with community members over how it "gets better" only for it to get worse

I'm sure to those of you that managed to look past all the trash that this series has, it will not be an enjoyable reaction to watch. With the amount of episodes I've seen, the series is hard carried by animation and art style. The world building itself becomes decent past episode 9 and there's an entire world to discover and travel, setting up the next seasons. I've been told that the creep behavior only gets worse, despite it having good potential on every other front, so I'm not sure I want to even continue watching it. 💀
