March MM Donation Sketch

So, a bit of insight into my .. work habits. The first sketch (to the left), was my original thought. I was happy with the 'stick people' I had made and was working on detailing it... after getting so far.. it really wasnt working, and I was able to figure out why after trying to move Shai into the place I wanted him.. Stick figures looked like it worked.. in the end it didnt.. Wasted work? Perhaps.. but its all a process.

Eventually, after trial and error with the first sketch, it gave me a better idea how to work with my idea.. and then I came to the final sketch.. Yes.. I know the vote said 'doggy style', which means on all fours.. but.. you know what.. maybe we should be a little more creative with this instead of bland... I like the final sketch.. so.. yeah..

Just thought I would show you guys the process of constant thrown out sketches that ultimately delay my work. Sketching.. is always the longest and most frustrating part of art for me... once I get it down I have a lot of fun with the inking and coloring though.
