End of Druids - Updates and Picture SALE!!

It's with a heavy heart that I announce the End of the Druids Web Comic.  We knew this day was coming; it was announced a while ago.  There was never the expectation that Druids would run forever.  I wanted it to come to a satisfying ending and tell a complete story before it got old.  

It has been 8 years of work and ended up with 470 pages (I think there are like 2 filler pages, I can't remember).  I gave birth to three wonderful children during the comic, which is crazy to think that the comic is older than my seven year old.  So needless to say it's been a large part of my life.

So, what's next?  

Skylords Comic

Well, as I've mentioned before we're working on Skylords, which is the next comic I plan on creating.  It'll still be furry in theme, but will have nothing to do with the World of Warcraft setting.  It's a fantasy world of our own creation - and I think I have enough story telling experience to make it even more special than Druids =).  We plan on starting the comic January of 2021.  The release schedule and methods will be a bit different, but we'll get into that more later.  

There is already some artwork out there for the characters, we have a good outline for the first few chapters, and we're already working on a site.  

Also, there is a Discord channel to discuss it if folks have any questions.  

Continuing Art

Now, I have mentioned with the state of the world and the Pandemic and Virtual Schooling that I need a break!  And what does a break mean?  Well, not a complete break from art, but definitely less for a few months.  Here is what I am committing to for the rest of 2020:

• One Monthly Picture
• One "Ask the Cast" Picture
• One Side Comic Page
• One Male x Male OR One Additional Side Comic Page (will be alternating each month)

None of the Patreon rewards will change, but I am committed to doing the above.  

Kickstarter Pins

There is only like an hour left as of me writing this so I doubt we'll get too much more traffic but daaamn.  I'm super happy it was successful and I did not expect to get this many supports, so thank you, thank you, thank you.  I'll have pictures and be sending out the survey.  I plan on placing the orders next weekend (September 5th-ish) so if you did miss out on the Kickstarter email me at: druidscomic@gmail.com and we can work something out.

Physical Comic Print

I know I talked about Physical Comic Prints for a while now but I don't think it's going to happen.  As much as I would love to have a super fancy hard cover printed version of the comic, it would be way too expensive.  Also, I talked to some publishing companies and there isn't much I can do since the content is owned by Blizzard.  Oh well!  Live and learn.

So for those who were hoping for this, or excited to see that little header, sorry!  No printed comic for Druids.

End of Druids Sale!

You know what, this'll probably be the last time we can justifiably do a picture same, so why not.

Since Druids has ended, for the entire Month of September, we'll be running a sale on all of the past monthly pictures.  To keep things simple, I'm going to do it in blocks of $20 USD:
