Unreal Creation Post-Story Thoughts

Figured I'd do a small commentary thing for Unreal Creation, mostly in regard to how disappointed I am with myself in handling it.

Personally, I feel like I didn't take full advantage of the premise and just kind of created a Futa Note lite story. If I'd taken the time, I could've made it much more engaging as an actual story and distinguished it from Futa Note, but as it is, the beats aren't very different, even if the content is largely more 'extreme'.

Looking back, I definitely should've taken more time to think over a game aspect to the app, or put more creativity into the tasks it gave. Then there's the weirder parts of the changes that just kept getting forgotten or received token mentions here and there. I need to keep that in mind for future stories. Piling so much stuff on one character, like Destiny, just makes for a confusing experience.

Then there's the relationship with Hazel that definitely needed a clearer conflict. If I did it again, she would've been brought into the mix much earlier, or at least made aware of Destiny's changes so her borderline addiction to Destiny's growth, and subsequent dismissal of her desires, could've been made much more apparent and maybe explored. Instead, I ended up rushing it in the last couple chapters.

There were a lot more public scenes planned too that I cut for the sake of brevity to focus on growth and relationships. Basically, I ran back to my comfort zone out of impatience and lack of experience with public sex scenes. I think the impatience kind of shows in the last few chapters especially.

Fortunately, this should serve as a great learning experience so I hopefully won't repeat the same mistakes in the future.

Hopefully, you all enjoyed it and I hope you'll look forward to better content in the near future.
