Plus how many of us are just completely ignorant of anime. I had never seen a Miyazaki before they covered him but I knew the names and designs pretty well for years before hand but I had straight up just never heard of Kon or any of his work before they started saying he was one of the most requested directors this year. It was a very odd but Iβm excited to check out his stuff someday.
