For a few minutes - mostly the scenes with Christopher Lee, it is one of the best films of the series. But these scenes feel out of place from the sheriff and the slide whistle.

2022-09-01 08:43:18 +0000 UTCI loved this movie as a kid.... Obviously it's one of the lesser Moores, but as a child, that didn't seem to bother me. I saw this in s double bill with 'Live and let die' ... It looks pretty cheap in places. This is one of times when they tried to harden up Moore's Bond by having him slap a woman (oh boy....) I think as I kid, I was probably excited because it has a laser in it, plus a car does a great stunt (almost totally undone by that stupid sound effect) & Scaramanga's car freaking flies!! Oh, James....
