I actually think the theatrical release is better because it wisely cuts some of the convoluted stuff, but nothing short of a rewrite could fix it properly.

What is missing is the work that he did coming out of 'abscurity' in 1999, in the $35M TV miniseries - 'Storm of the Century' "Give me what I want and I'll go away." The delivery alone is worth his time in Chronicles.

Now I'm pretty sure I never saw the third one. Watching the trailer for Riddick it looks like they just redid Pitch Black but added the bounty hunters from Chronicles.

I think he has too much control over the fast and furious films. And as much as I enjoy ‘ironically’ watching them, can we admit that they’re flawed and stupid?? Sometimes I think Griffin ignores how bloated and commercial those films are because of Vin’s ‘independent spirit’. Like that doesn’t make them billion dollar car commercials. I’m not saying you can’t enjoy them, I just don’t get why Marvel is destroying Hollywood and FF is saving it…
