Of course 40s aren’t a thing in the UK, they’re on the metric system!

2025-01-09 13:08:09 +0000 UTCI so badly want to like this review. But I feel like the Wayne brothers would be greatly disappointed in me for changing this perfect number for this perfect episode

2024-01-26 13:54:11 +0000 UTCIt sucks that Hollywood took the franchise from the Wayans family. But l also hate the did Little man after 😂 god l hate that movie. But l think the Wayans still got it. I’m so mad that Shawn never did a romantic comedy like knocked up or something. Very grounded comedy. The Wayans always work in grounded comedy

2022-01-26 20:34:16 +0000 UTCStrongly recommend the podcast "What Had Happened Was" with Prince Paul being interviewed by Open Mike Eagle. It happens that Prince Paul, who was essentially the inventor of hip hop skits (in his records with De La Soul) also produced the Chris Rock comedy albums with the songs. He's also really funny, talented, humble, and well worth listening to.

2021-06-14 14:45:20 +0000 UTCDavid- go with a magic Merlin sleep sack if she keeps busting out of swaddles. Also when she’s 6 months old I recommend this program my wife found called “taking cara babies.” Our son has been a solid 10-12 hour a night sleeper since we did that with him. A little late in the game and they’re expensive, but a SNOO also works well for the first 6 months ish (depending on how fast the kid grows). A friend of mine’s daughter refused to sleep for like a year and watching his descent into madness made me willing to do just about anything to avoid that fate, so we purchased one of those and it worked well.

2021-06-12 10:19:48 +0000 UTCSo... I kept waiting for the commentary to start... It didnt twig for me until past an hour in that it wasnt a commentary episode, i just thought it was the best preamble ever

2021-06-12 10:18:50 +0000 UTCDavid, have you guys tried a Woombie/sleep sack?

2021-06-12 05:45:19 +0000 UTCAn apotheosis of the podcast medium. Seriously maybe I’m in a weird mood but this has that vibe of like a Pynchon or Ben Lerner novel where you just went on a bunch of inane tangents but somehow I feel like you’ve described all of human experience. A+

2021-06-12 02:01:08 +0000 UTCA Space Jam sequel needs something as culturally defining as Bugs Bunny & Michael Jordan, which exists in neither Looney Tunes or the NBA today. Maybe a decade ago it coulda been Space Ham w/Ponyo & Michael Phelps. Today?

2021-06-11 21:26:56 +0000 UTCI was hoping David would get into the details of British Smirnoff Ice having vodka in it but US Smirnoff Ice being a "malt beverage" - who knows what Griffin would think of the UK version?!

2021-06-11 18:05:17 +0000 UTCClassic movie. So funny. I kinda like ish the boys would consider doing KEENAN IVORY WAYANS on the main pod. He had a big influence on my childhood (this, scary movie 1&2, and White Chicks)

2021-06-11 15:23:00 +0000 UTCDavid, my daughter would break out of her swaddle all the time. We eventually swaddled her with one arm free and she seemed happy after that.

2021-06-11 15:04:49 +0000 UTCman the more I hear about Ben’s past the more I realize I have never done anything fun in my life ever

2021-06-11 13:49:18 +0000 UTCThe energy in this episode was exactly what I needed for a rainy hour-long Friday commute. Chaotic but also chill and meandering. *chef's kiss*

2021-06-11 13:02:54 +0000 UTCDavid- As far as swaddling: you think you're going to hurt you daughter but you're not. Make that wrap as tight as you can! She is used to a uterus. Your blanket wrapping skills just can't keep up!

2021-06-11 12:24:57 +0000 UTCLoved the episode but I gotta say, you were way too rigid. Loosen up, go off script for once!

2021-06-11 05:26:58 +0000 UTCSaw this on release and all I remember is the chilling chestnut-adjacent shot of a black teen earning a scholarship and immediately getting gunned down. I assume there are jokes I'm forgetting.
