Mission: Impossible

Your mission should you choose to accept it… is an extremely silly hang with the Blank Check crew. From movie 1, it’s clear you guys made the right call with our first Patreon March Madness champion  - The Mission: Impossible franchise. Join us as we watch Ethan Hunt get progressively more insane, Luther become his instant bestie, tense action hinge on one man’s indigestion, and bask in the glow of that sweet sweet 1996 computer tech.

The movie starts at... 18:46

My son is 18 and has tom cruise teeth. One of his incisors was malformed and it was surgically removed other teeth just came in. His brow line is also cruisey but hes 6 foot tall.

I saw this in theater at 12 and I recently got Paramount and I am excited to do the whole series. I don't have strong opinions about Tom Cruise. My Favorite Cruise is Interview and Minority Report. I ALSO LIKED HIM IN tropic Thunder. He's the opposite of sexual attraction to me he's like repellent. I'm so excited to listen I'm on movie 3

Love it!

“Jean Reno voices Mufasa in the French dub of the lion king” - “you’re telling me there’s a cloud that sounds like Jean Reno?” “Of course. It floats over France.” I am dying.

Just wanna say that the Mission: impossible game for 64 was ambitious and ahead-of-its-time in a way that has gone much unappreciated, IMO. There were parts of that game that worked really well and had pacing that you just didn't see in that generation's games, and 10-year-old me felt like i was deep in Super Spy Shit, and a lot of its shortcomings were limitations in the technology that games like Hitman and MGS have executed with much better resources. Goldeneye still better obv.

It’s so cool that after discussing split diopter shots in TS4, we see a couple of ‘em in this movie. I had nooooo idea what that was before- I love getting to learn about stuff like this!

Lauren

Just watched. Couple of things, this movie is not hard to follow, also max.com is the best joke in cinema history.

Gunner Taylor

So keen for this watched the whole series in prep, had not seen 1, 2 or 5 before. So keen to rewatch it with the two friends, plus Ben, plus Ang, plus the checkmates.

Oscar

Was not particularly looking forward to this this mini series, despite liking most of the films but David's excitement right of the bat has got me HYPED. Still think Planet of the Apes should have won but this is going to be fun.
