It would be more weird if they were kids kids raised together but if itβs 2 teenagers/young adults that never been in contact before I think thatβs my exception I guess. But gotta admit the chemistry is chemistrying.

2024-08-23 13:09:14 +0000 UTCSo Wang called the 'dad' uncle at the beginning of the episode, so I wonder if maybe he's not the dad. Also the flashback scene with his mom we see the mom with the 'uncle' and it's sort of clear that they are talking of someone else loving the food she cooks as much as the uncle does, then there's the intimate-ish hand holding. I'm shooting in the dark here but that could be a reason for the resentment-other than being teenagers angry at life in general
