God, old man San is such a riot. Did he dream of Vee being like a fox demon because of that myth they talked about an ep or two ago? Did Vee feel like a temptress to him in that scene? 😂 and Tao’s response to that being “did you watch Naruto again?” made me cackle out loud.
I prob need to rewatch the whole stone thing but ngl I’ve been a little confused like there’s only one half left right? San swallowed one and the other needs to be swallowed by Vee, (or whoever Vad’s reincarnation is lol), and I thought in an earlier episode they already showed that a stone was being hidden behind a secret bookshelf or something similar so I’m like, well. Idk it’s kinda odd that they took it out 🤔
Also, I get what you mean about not being a big fan of the whole “fated” thing. I don’t mind how they’re doing it so far, because it seems like they’re focusing on the theme of “moving on”/“being stuck in the past”, not necessarily on how Vee and San are bound together by something so they HAVE to be together. San is stuck in the past and refuses to move on from the memory of the Vad he knew, so (whether Vee is actually her or not) he refuses to even entertain the idea because Vee is sooooo different from the memory of the person he wants? Or something like that 😂 I don’t mind this concept too much but I do think it’s easy to screw up in execution if you don’t write the romance well.
I also do like the concept of whoever you’re “fated” to not necessarily having to be romantic in nature, which even Juu actually brought up earlier, that Vee can just do the ritual with the stone and they can move on if San is THAT opposed to a dude, but San is too stubborn about love i guess lol

I am kinda glad he was stabbed because if he ran away with stone, San would have hated him. I think you are right about the fake stone. I love how both Daou and Offroad have improved in acting. The minor expression changes in Daou's face is soo good. And offroad in that dream was perfect!!
