This is the type of show that gets my brain whirring. They seem to be trying to explore the intersection between technology and humanity. What does it mean to be human? If an AI can be fed the data, but then process it and learn beyond its initial programming to be able to express emotion, how is this different from a brain? Most of Nine is man made, but how much of what it is experiencing is from what was programmed directly, and how much is new from his time with Yiping?
