2023-12-31 13:49:40 +0000 UTCRay was in rehab ever since that therapy scene a while back...they referenced it a couple times after then too. It was just obviously some kind of outpatient program so probably not like what you were expecting to see.

2023-10-29 10:37:39 +0000 UTCI really was like "Noooo Boston what are you doinggg", but when he said he sees physical and emotional as different I realised this man just doesn't know any better. Still doesn't excuse his behaviour and at that moment I wanted Nick to just move on. You can see Boston genuinely loves Nick, but he needs to realise that once you're together you cannot fool around with others. PLUS he lied about being in the bathroom so the man knows damn well he did wrong. But at the same time I wanted them to be endgame anyway?? I'm so confused myself lol. The screenwriters messed up Boston and made him look like trash, while this whole episode he wanted to apologise to everyone and try to make things better. It's painful to watch. Mew annoys me so so much. He's constantly acting all high and mighty and being rude. I would not even wanna be friends with him. Boston hugging him hurt meee. Also why ask Boston to come along when you eventually tell him you didn't even want him to come along?? You could've just not asked him. No one told you to ask him lmao In all honesty the only people who should've stayed in that friend group should've been Mew and Cheum. I'm surprised Ray is still with them considering they don't even care about him. That fire... I was expecting Top to completely flip out and have a panick attack, but idk... there wasn't really any tension or genuine fear? I never really skipped through this show until the last 2 episodes. I started losing my interest a bit and just found some scenes annoying/boring. Overall it was good and I give it a solid 8/10 for now (who knows I'll change my mind), but it's not a rewatch for me. I don't need a season 2 tbh. I felt like it finished, but they should've done it differently imo and have these characters have actual conversations about all the issues. Last episode was kinda a bummer. Also sad these writers made every official couple end up together to please everyone. Thought this was gonna be a series where almost no one was gonna be together at the end. Also really expected a death, but I think that again they want to please people and would not do that just for that simple reason.

2023-10-29 10:21:04 +0000 UTCI will just say, they gave Boston soooo much growth. Because Boston’s problem was NEVER sleeping around, that wasn’t what he needed to fix. He needed to fix how he just didn’t care about other people. And he did, he’s not perfect, but he’s learning. Boston 12 episodes ago would have never apologized to any of them, this Boston meant it. It was rough to see BostonNick, but it was realistic (probably because it was based on a real person). I didn’t walk away hating Boston at all, and I don’t think you were suppose to. You were supposed to see how he did ruin some of his friendships (because no matter how much he regrets it, most people wouldn’t forgive Boston for what he did), how some forgave him (like Ray did and how Nick was okay at the end) and how he knows he needs to do better if he wants to keep important people in his life. His character arch was great!

My biggest issue is the lack of real conversations that characters should be having. Sandray need to apologize to each other. Chuem has to have a serious talk with her brother and apologize properly to Boston. Mew needs to fully unpack his anger so he doesn’t use Topboston to hurt Top in future arguments. Mew needs to get off his high horse and actually talk to Boston like he’s a human being. Bostonnick need to have an actual heart to heart about their relationship and the pain they caused each other. And more, like there a countless plot holes and loose ends. Boeing’s addition to the story was honestly useless. Like why was he there? To cause drama? There was already drama without him. The screenwriters/directors have a personal vendetta against Boston or someone who is like Boston from personal experience. Because they gave him zero character growth or development, they made him so one-dimensional when he could have been the most complex character. The slither of redemption they gave him was all washed away when he, pointlessly, cheated on Nick with Boeing. There are much better ways to portray polyamory, 3 will be free is a good example, but they just choose to make Boston the villain instead?! The show just ending with him being alone and miserable, when he was the only one who actively tried to reconcile with everyone?! And don’t get me started on the consistent and blatant slut shaming he faced throughout the show… Overall this was a 7.6/10 for me #JUSTICE4BOSTON

(Even if I don't support cheating of course, but I would make an exception here. 🤣 ) Even if most people don't like a season 2, I would love it I guess. I also loved the second season of Friendzone tbh., so I have a little hope we could get one here too. But well, we will see. 😊 Loved this show and the way they showed the good and bad things that can happen in every relationship. I enjoyed it so much and for now this will be my favorite gmmtv show for this year. Well done from all the actors, they really were going all out in this! Love them. 💖

I see very few script writers who knows what they want from protagonists and second line characters. Sometimes a first episode is promising, but the development of a story and characters are far from even good. Fortunately for the Thai BL film industry, there are talented actors who are saving the fate of a series. Because I re-watch some episodes because I like what I see in performance. And i hope I am not the only one. I am not talking about the second problem- negligence. I don't see it in this particular series.

It started beyond my expectation and then, somewhere episode7-8 it lost me. The scenario took a turn I did not enjoyed at all. What was pretty wild but still realistic in some point became a big why, why this road ? Why this turn ? - Nick who I found pathetically ridicule got the best devellopment. - Boston was always fine with me, I have no problem with people like him; I got problem with people who want to normalize and make goody goody boyscout of him. Boston does not act as a vilain, he is himself without the boundary of the societal judgment code. But by watching the series, the scenario wanted to vilainized him. I hated that turn. - Top was weak, his personality was bland. I believe it is just me but I didn't like Force interpretation. Top wanted to change because he found love, fine by me, go ahead. - Mew started OK with me, boring just like 98 % of people in Earth. We are all boring, some are just better liar to themselves. And suddenly for the sake of drama, Mew turn into a psycho control freak. He was supposed to be clever, wise, smart and he turn like a child of 8 who want to destroy everything because he didn't get the last I-Phone. I hate drama queen who considere their heart and genital like holy relic. Top was just a first try, who do you think you are Mew ? The Great Cosmic Virgin ? - Sand, never liked him from the start, refer to the goody boyscout. I don't like. Think he is Mother Theresa of some kind who want to save poor rich people who suffuring...ah, please, just shoot me. - Ray... well we know from where he started and where he ended up. We only watch drama, no progression. Like... Ep 1, problem. Ep 12 resolve, ep 2 to 11 drama drama drama. At the end I never really care for this character. At least, with this series we are way away from blue shorts boys but there was so many possibities with the side characters. Drake, Boeing and Papang could have cristallize so many options; answer, help, rival, ennemy, whatever but it never came up. Exemple Boeing being an honest and responsible guy could have save Mew from his destructive behaviour and end up with him. Exemple: Drake full villain wanted to blackmail Boston. Exemple: Sand cannot saves Ray, Ray commit suicide. Too much ranting from me, don't listen to me.
