The Old Hermit on 2025

Well, what I've wanted to tell you all for a few days is something, overall, simple, but I think it's important to share as it relates to the future of my Patreon.

As you've probably noticed, I've been quite busy over the past few months. The thing is, I'm thinking of quitting my current job. It takes up so much of my time and barely leaves me any for other things, like keeping the Patreon active. The truth is, I come home so tired from work that sometimes I fall asleep at my PC trying to create content for here, which has messed up my sleep cycles. But! Quitting a job isn't something I can do just like that, so I'm working extra hours to save up more money so I can quit, knowing I have enough saved up to support myself for the coming months...

So why am I explaining this? To everyone I owe commissions to... I apologize for the delays... I assure you I haven’t forgotten you, just give me some time, and I promise I’ll get them to you soon. I was also thinking about taking a break from commissions, at least until the end of February, but honestly, I'm not sure how I would handle that. Apparently, there's a new system on Patreon that allows you to sell a product at a fixed price, and I was thinking that I could handle commissions that way, leaving the subscriptions just as they are—support for me—and anyone who wants a commission can purchase it as a monthly service. I’d love to hear your thoughts on that.

To finish, I’m likely going to quit my job by the end of February, so by March, I’ll be much freer... but until then, things will be a bit complicated for me, so I hope you understand my slower pace as usual.
