I feel like this would be a perfectly decent setup is we were about a quarter of the way through the show... but this is almost over already, and our ML is still not remotely likeable. I agree with the other commenters - it just doesn't feel earned. And I can't see how there's enough time to redeem the relationship in a satisfying way. It would be great to be proved wrong, but I'm not even a little bit hopeful 🫤
