And pleased I got it done because every session day this week has been a struggle, I haven’t wanted to go hahaha. I’m so tired because I haven’t been sleeping well 🥱 can’t always be perfect can it.

Hey Sophie, It looks to me like doing those hip thrusts with just your back against the edge of the bench like that is putting a LOT of pressure against a few vertibrae of your spine. You harm one of those disks, you will be in for a LONG recovery. Just get a 10 or 12 inch piece of scrap plywood, 1inch thick, and place it between your back and the edge of the bench. It will spread out the force and prevent any risk to your back. Shouldn’t be too much of a pain in the ass to deal with, either. I’d like to express how much I Respect all that you’ve accomplished in the last year or so. Proud of you, Sophie!
