The show will never point it out specifically or tie it back to the old arc's scene, and Colt and Peggy have already had their punching/catalyst realization. Wing used the "quick and dirty" method of unlocking the kid's pores during Heavens Arena, that is, he sent a jolt of his own aura into them instead of having them open over weeks or months of training since they had a deadline that same night. This is essentially the same thing, Gon and Killua's nen shocked Rammot into awakening by force, since he had the potential inherently but didn't know it yet. Colt used Rammot to do the same thing to himself, and they could presumably continue this for everyone.
