WIP - Drakaar Portrait (Remake of my OC)

I would like to know what do you guys think about the spikes and scales. Is it too much? or should I add something more maybe?

Thanks! Actually I do love spikes x) For now I will just think about it and I will go back later!

I wouldn't change the details unless you want to express some certain things with it - like more bigger scales ==> harder to the touch .. more smaller scales -> softer to the touch; more hard spikes and piercing look -> maybe some rougher or relentless personality etc.
