Good thing to keep in mind too, there are a billion hidden stats that servants get that you will never know about in the anime. Geographical bonuses (a servant from America would be stronger there, etc) among a ton of other things. Not sure if you picked up on this before, but the master's skill or affinity with certain things really affects the servants stats.

Reinforcing magic is very basic stuff, pretty much all mages can do it on some level including Kiritsugu. Most people can't do (normal) magic, but people without a magical bloodline like Shirou can just have a random mutation and thus have magical circuits. Shirou insisted on being taught magic, so Kiritsugu taught him the bare minimum and told him to keep working on it.

Also servants are technically not supposed to attack before they materialise. Ufotable took some liberties for it to look cooler. The 'Reverse Cause and Effect' is sort of an amalgamation of Cu's myths. There are lots of stories of how his spear causes instant death, including the bursting into barbs. This is just Fate's version of it, more or less.

2019-02-12 02:12:00 +0000 UTCChu Chulainn is MUCH, MUCH more powerful than Diarmuid. He's basically Irish Hercules, and actually one of the more powerful Lancers in the Fate/verse. His Noble Phantasm's ability is basically a 1 shot kill power to "reverse cause and effect". For example, "My spear pierced my enemies heart, therefore I must have struck them", or "My enemy fell dead, therefore my blow must have been fatal". Yeah. It's stupid OP. The only reason Saber managed to survive is because of her high Luck stat.
