2019-01-25 08:31:14 +0000 UTCNot sure if you caught this or not, but at the end when Kirei and Gilgamesh are talking about the wine's taste has changed, it's a metaphor for how Kirei's world has started to open up because he's begun to pursue his interest: inflicting suffering on others. That's why he said "If it will taste this wonderful, I would dearly love to sample it again". He's finally given in to Gilgamesh's temptations and has embraced the darker side of himself that he tried to shut away.
