"Fun" fact: In the light novel this is based on this this part was actually a bit shorter. There wasn't quite enough material for a full episode, so they had to create some original content for the anime since this wouldn't really have worked as a part of another episode. Most importantly, in the novel Rin got attacked by Caster's creature and saved by Kariya before she managed to enter the bar... meaning that those kids, Kotone included, most likely ended up dying horribly as opposed to the anime where they are saved ;___;

That said it is a lot easier to get rid of the master, so it won't cause complications, but in Kariya's case I guess he values Sakura's life more than Tokiomi's but I don't think he wants to kill him really. Also most things you're wondering about will be cleared up at a later date.

2018-12-29 08:24:49 +0000 UTCthe servants cant survive without the master so killing the master pretty much guarantee the death of the servant. but just killing the servant is fine too altho killing both is the 100% guarantee that you knocked them out of the fight. cuz a servant that lost his master cud make a pact with another to keep themselves going. so the best way is to kill both
