i think in that moment schneizel was shocked cuz it was like COMPLETELY opposite of what euphy woulda done. and i dont think hes just downright evil and wants to kill ppl. hes kinda like a even more extreme lelouch. while lleouch has hesitation in straight up killing ppl schneizel doesnt hav that. if it works he will do it lol. but i agree he is a great villain.

Some science believes we have to eventually become something along the lines of a unified species in order to progress further without political/social/war issues setting us back or preventing forward momentum if we ever want real space travel and discovery that we see in science fiction. If we will loose individual will is unknown really since we have no idea how such a process can come about or its side effects.

2018-12-01 14:49:42 +0000 UTCBack during Euphy's massacre, there was a split second where Schneizel's "mask" broke and we saw him genuinely distressed over what was happening. My personal fan-theory is that, even though a lot of his personality and interactions were fake/exaggerated, deep down he was a good guy who believed a lot of the things he said, but witnessing that madness broke something in him. Or maybe I'm just biased because of how much I love his character, and in reality he's just a fucking wacko.

Lelouch is maybe trying to gain peace through controlling people against their will to silence any opposition he also believes in lies. Schnizle believes in peace through using lies and absolute erasure of opposition aka sacrifice 2 billion to save 80 billion + kinda idea. Natalie obviously doesn't believe in the ends justify the means and is being pushed now to use these weapons now imo. All of these methods believe in sacrificing people in order for the greater good but i find it funny that Charles was the only one whos plan didn't lead through peace by control but peace through human understanding.
