As far as billing is concerned, perhaps you have gotten this update from Patreon or on behalf of my account, but they have permanently adjusted billing sitewide to be true subscription billing aka billed on your date of sign up rather than first of the month. This avoids people maybe signing up on 10/31 and being charged that day and on 11/1 which was fairly annoying, i know.
