EmuDeck Machine Arch Linux ISO

Hi!

Here is the ISO for those that are making the DIY project by themselves using an Odroid H4.

https://github.com/Playnix-io/playnix-os/releases

Playnix is going to be the brand I'll be using for my hobby hardware projects in the future so they don't affect EmuDeck in any way, EmuDeck is my main focus but I need some hobbies too :)

I've created this Live CD ISO myself for this matter, you need to deploy it to an USB drive using a tool like Balena Etcher ( https://etcher.balena.io/#download-etcher ).

Install the OS on your Odroid and then when you are in desktop mode click on the "Enable Gaming Mode" icon so Steam and all the other needed goodies are installed, after that you can use your Odroid like a SteamOS device with Gaming and Desktop mode like a Steam Deck.

PS: An Android APK sneak peek is coming soon :)

as long as you don't have an Nvidia card it should be fine

EmuDeck

Will this only install on the Odroid H4? I've got a HP 3–4-year-old higher end mini desktop that I was going to setup for Linux based emulation device...

i am not sure playnix-os is a good name, it could give the illusion you are using nixos under the the hood.

Did you have internet enabled? Try running this in Konsole: pacman -S zenity

EmuDeck

Awesome work like always will set up on the machine when I get home

I got Play-Nix installed but the shortcut "Enable Gaming Mode" doesn't seem to do anything. I see a window flash for a second and then disappear. I tried to manually run the curl command and get the error " bash: line 86: zenity: command not found"
