2025-03-10 14:26:55 +0000 UTCIf you use a common cloud provider you can at least sync your saves via e.g. foldersync. It seems to be working although emulators like aethersx2 save in android data folder where syncthing does not reach. A script that configurates the Emulators in a way to save in emulation/save folder would be great, but hard to realise.

2025-02-25 12:29:42 +0000 UTCI found a fix! Had to rename the Emulation/saves/citron folder from “citron” to “Citron” and now it just works. On Windows 11 the folder in Emulation/saves was “Citron” but SteamOS was “citron”, renaming the SteamOS folder fixed everything.

2025-02-25 03:40:28 +0000 UTCIt seems when they're uploaded to the cloud one of the systems uploads the folder but with a capital C. Not sure why, could it be an issue on my end? I tried emudeck cloud instead of my normal nextcloud but the saves still wouldn't sync.

2025-02-24 08:31:38 +0000 UTCSo I think I figured out the issue. The Linux save is syncing but as a folder called “c*tron” meanwhile the windows folder is called “C*tron”. It seems to be treating them as two different emulators all because of the capitalization

2025-02-24 05:59:07 +0000 UTCThanks, after running the setup again with emudeck cloud I checked the rclone.conf file and it’s now configured on both windows and steamos. However on steamos when I do a test cloud sync health it still says failure on the upload and download. The weird thing is that during the cloud sync setup, when prompted to download saves or upload saves, I selected download and it works, the save files are there (I previously deleted the saves folder so I could identify if it worked). So it’s like the initial download works but after that when I do the test it fails. I’m pretty sure this is another issue on it’s own since this was the same behavior when I had cloud sync configured with dropbox (only happens on steamos). Maybe I’m missing something.

I got it working with dropbox but only for windows 11, steamos shows an upload failure.
