Steam Library corruption fix - Windows
Added 2025-01-12 01:25:19 +0000 UTCHi, some of you have reported that your entire library of roms disappeared from Steam. Turns out Steam doesn't like when Windows touches its files so the file that holds the non Steam Games was getting corrupted. But there's a backup.
If you open EmuDeck It will ask you if you want to restore that backup of your Steam Library, this will close Steam and restore the backup, open Steam manually after EmuDeck starts.
PS: This bug has been fixed so new windows installations or new migrations won't have this issue, sorry for the inconveniences caused :(

2025-01-12 02:32:18 +0000 UTCthis is not possible with SteamOS at the moment, I did something to have custom parsers and emudeck parsers but I had to take It back, it's working in Windows though, so I'll get back to work on the SteamOS version some day

2025-01-12 01:50:06 +0000 UTCBtw, could you please tell me or point me in the proper direction to figure out how to keep custom parsers untouched whenever I update SRM, or have to reset it for new parsers? I have many and I would like to know if or how I can still get the latest SRM updates without my custom parsers being deleted, if possible. Thanks in advance.

2025-01-12 01:42:46 +0000 UTCThat's is unrelated, I'm afraid. I haven't changed anything related to libraries in SteamOS. Steam sometimes gets corrupted by itself and that happens, specially with big collections :(

2025-01-12 01:39:14 +0000 UTCI had this happen to me yesterday on SteamOS. :( Lots of my collections were emptied, but a handful or two were untouched.
