CloudSync Windows update - Unstable
Added 2024-08-11 08:47:19 +0000 UTCHello, I've pushed some changes to the unstable channel for Windows regarding CloudSync:
More notifications: Now Cloudsync will notify you when a save is being uploaded. (finally!) This should help troubleshoot CloudSync issues
Fixes an issue in some windows systems where saves will download but won't upload.
Known issues:
CloudSync could not work if you have your Emulation folder in a drive different than C .Windows won't detect changes to the file. Working on it.
Powershell window, while this is being tested the log of what's going on in the background will be visible so a new powershell window will appear when launching a game, please report if this causes an issue with controls, specially with the Switch emulators.
This update doesn't affect steamOS, and it won't delete / overwrite anything. To get it just install EmuDeck EA Unstable from the pinned post: https://www.patreon.com/posts/early-access-70000718
Just install the app, no need to reinstall EmuDeck or anything like that.
If you want to go back to EA Stable just reinstall the EA app and everything will be back to normal : https://www.patreon.com/posts/early-access-70000718

2024-08-11 16:29:07 +0000 UTCI'm going to assume I'm in the screwed if not on C: category. SteamOS used to be the only thing that uploaded and downloaded and now it's doing neither. I'll let you know how it works when you're able to fix this issue.
