Keep seeing an error attempting to install via "EmuDeck EA Windows.bat" not a programmer, but error seems to indicate a missing } in the ps1 file.

It didn't finish the Install / download the EmuDeck Installer, when I left it in my download folder and had the EmuDeck.Desktop on my Desktop.

Can‘t get the Controller working with Steam Deck Tools. Any suggestions. Steamdeck Windows 11. Steam Deck Tools X360,mode.

Win 11 seems to just run it from chrome fine

Used firefox and double click does nothing

or just double click it...just don't use Edge to download it.

For anyone. To run a bat file find Command Prompt open it and drag the bat file into the command prompt window and press enter.

No, it doesn't download citra-qt.exe to EmulationStation/Citra. All emulators *.exe file are in EmulationStation/emulations except Citra. However, I copied *.dll and citra-qt.exe from my windows pc to Windows Steam and it worked when I launched through Steam. When I launched EmulationStation, and click on 3DS game(s). it said couldn't find emulatior Citra.

Try reinstalling from manage emulators, if that doesn’t work try resetting EmulationStation settings

We are not the developers of SteamRomManager so we can’t see that report. But what you are describing sounds like a Steam issue, sometimes the vdf file get corrupted.

Steam rom Manger doesn't load for me it won't let me select any parcer to load into steam I've uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times won't load for me

We have several versions of MAME, 2010, 2013+ and current. Are you using a romset for the core you are using?

Retroarch Melon DS is not working for Asus rog ally, not initiating the game, I need to use the original emulator instead of Emudeck...

There’s no EmuDeck for Mac yet, is not ready yet. What platforms are you more interested in? So I can start with those when the work on Windows is less demanding

I have clicked on both these links: EmuDeck EA Linux.desktop.zip EmuDeck EA Windows.bat And they both tell me to choose an application or find one from App Store

which one of these links should I open to download on my Mac?

For me it crashes when I try to do this.

It's the same thing for me, I get to the 'Select your ROM directory' step, and then it goes back to the beginning...

I have a weird issue it does not matter what I click in Emudeck it refers me to the login and the checking for updates and then to the welcome screen again. any advise? for example I click on Bios Checker it sends me to login and check update I click on Manage Emulators then update it sends me to login and checking for update

Steam ROM Manager is triggering my Windows Defender with a trojan warning (Trojan:Win32/Wacatac.B!ml). Installation was all done with the EmuDeck-Setup-2.1.17.exe from the link above.

Has anyone had issues with it just staying on the download screen?

My antivirus (Bitdefender) is known for being a headache/POS. I keep getting warnings for suspicious activity as Heur.BZC.ZFV.Boxter.222.FBED7C79 (PowerShell) I would suggest contact with Bitdefender to get this resolved.

Hi. Just joined and have a couple of issues. Mainly the Rom manager gets stuck telling me to close Steam, even though it is completely closed. So can't do anything with the Roms at the moment. Ok, I got everything loaded on my freshly installed Windows 10 PC(was previously having issues getting GIT and 7zip to install during setup). Have a bunch of games loaded in Steam according to the YouTube video, but getting no sound when the games actually run. The games on the Steam storefront have audio when you run a game preview video. Emulation Station also makes noises when you toggle through games and such. Did I do something wrong on the install? Once again, very new, and trying to get this going for my daughter who is itching for some Pokemon Stadium action with sound.

I have a question. If I install EmuDeck on my windows PC and steamdeck, will cloud saves work between the 2 or will I need to setup something different to get saves to work between eachother?

Need to right click the installer, go to properties, and there'll be a section at the bottom that says "this program came from another computer and may be blocked to protect it", press unblock. It'll run fine after you do that

Every time I try to open the file, it will ask me to choose an app to open the file which app, program should I use or how to open the file, I’m a returning to windows user.

I don't want to get a token on my PC, the window not open

If you use Google Social Sign-On, you can't sign in so then you can't get the token. I had to create a password to get the token

The app will give you the token after you install it and log in

Newbie here. Trying to install on a fresh Windows 10 PC and get stuck with the setup. I have Steam installed. I downloaded EmuDeck on Chrome, but it won't install GIT or 7zip. I have read the "Common Issues" write-up on this topic, and tried that path to no avail. Please understand I am very new to this.

Love your work, all perfect execpt just could not get Dosbox working.

I want a fresh install on my Ally, but uninstalling emudeck left emulationstation and all the emulators on my device. I removed them by hand. But reinstalling emudeck it just pretends nothing happened and everything is still there, it doesnt take me through the setup again. When I want to do a quick reset through emudeck it gets stuck on the retroarch install. When I want to do a custom reset, I can't choose my C drive (my ally fried my sd card unfortunately). Also, the link to the discord doesn't seem to work?
