We’d followed each other for years, always appreciating each other’s work from a distance, but never actually linking up. Timing, life, whatever the reason—it just hadn’t happened. But when it finally did, it was like we had been working together for years.
The setting: raw, untouched nature. The kind of space that strips everything down to its essence. No distractions, no constraints, just the interplay of light, form, and texture. Kiya moved with an intuitive grace, understanding the environment, understanding her body, and trusting my eye.
There was no need for over-explaining or over-directing. The session flowed naturally, each shot building on the last. It was the kind of shoot where you know, even before reviewing the images, that you’ve captured something special.
And we did.
