For the next month, I'm planning to do fewer images but focus on improving the uniqueness and overall quality. This change of direction is due to a wave of commissions taking up my time, and more importantly, to distinguish my work from all the other AI works out there that rely on batched generation.

Some thoughts and rants about the generative art scene: after playing around with stable diffusion for about two months, I've come to the conclusion that it's simply a new tool for artists to add to their digital or traditional art workflow. It won't replace artists, but it will enhance their productivity and capabilities. While relying solely on it to create something up to an acceptable standard can be frustrating and yield less than ideal results, it can be used in the usual digital art process to save time, push creativity, or even both at the same time. The "AI-generated" tag can be misleading because human creativity is often present and dominant in many "AI-generated" works. There's still some getting used to for artists, clients, and companies with all the AI stuff, but eventually, it will be treated like today's "blending trick" or "render plugin."
