Hello everyone!
These past two weeks we’ve been focusing on designing the gameplay for the second level. As you know, the central theme of this stage is “Corrupting Sabrina”, and its main gimmick is the bitch slap: if Emily takes an advanced stance, Sabrina will give her a good slap that makes her lose stamina.
With those ingredients, we’ve designed the three passives that will make the Infirmary interesting. Let’s take a look!
Creative Slap: when Emily receives a slap, her hand capacity permanently increases for the rest of the day.
Stone Skin: nullifies the damage from the first slap of the day.
Provocation: slaps grant Horny Points and corruption. You can also provoke Sabrina to slap you at any time.
As you can guess, these passives are designed so that the bitch slap can actually work to the player’s advantage as the level progresses. We still need to tweak values and polish some details so it’s easy to understand and not too punishing, but I think you’re going to love it. :D
By the way! You can already try these in the dev build — but don't expect to understand much of what's going on. It’s the first pass, after all!
