However, from now on, anyone who pledges to my Patreon page will be charged the day they sign up, and that same day each month for as long as they're a patron, rather than the first of every month. For instance, if you pledge to this page for the first time on the 25th of the month, you'll be charged immediately for the pledge like usual, but your next charge would be on the 25th of the next month rather than the 1st of the next month.
It's a good change, I think!

Before now, if someone pledged late in the month, they'd get charged again when the month rolled over, so it could feel like a double charge, which sucks :p

Before now, I had a notice at the top of this page's info in bold text saying that when you pledge to the page, you're immediately charged, and then from that point on it'd be the first of each month, so it's preferable to pledge near the beginning of the month. Despite the notice being there, I still always felt bad when people would sign up late in the month, heh
