Is it wrong to Speak in a Dungeon? Chapter 13

Ayup. Ais wasn't here because she's still in the lower floors, he invited Tione himself, it wasn't Loki that pushed her into training. As for the magic, anything Michael didn't want to say, he wouldn't have. He didn't see harm in explaining his magic as he only gave a brief summary of what it was and its chant (90% of which is fake). There's no reason not to answer her about Alfia, and not doing so could and would foster hostility and wariness from the Loki Familia. Also, while Loki Familia won't just walk on everyone in their own home, if they are worried about something, which they definitely were, they won't hesitate to push for it. Michael had nothing to lose giving this information and a lot at stake if he didn't. And lastly, for Bell's relation, it was a test from Michael to see how they would react to something like that as he aims to make an alliance with them in the future. And HeroX, if Loki herself says she won't do anything, then she won't. Edias's lie detection is superior to the gods, where even half-truths ping, and nothing came. I hinted at that earlier but it seems no one caught it.

I really liked the Talk no Jutsu bits, get a couple people straightened out and improving Familia relations^=^

Her exact words were that she wasn’t going to do anything. Remember she’s a goddess of trickery. That doesn’t include her Familia who if she told would most certainly feel a certain way about a former terrorist’s nephew gaining power at a frightening rate. Loki is the type of shifty car salesman that puts her and Hermes in the same league. In short, take everything that she says with a basket of salt.

HeroX vex

While stupid, considering that Edias' lie detector didn't ping, she was telling the truth that she wasn't going to do anything to him.

Today's chapter was well worth the wait and I agreed with many of the points Michael made. The shock that both gods and mortals have towards his blunt honesty is refreshing and hilarious in many ways. He covered alot of other bases that I feel was both needed and wanted. Due to him paying attention and coming up with his own accurate conclusions. Hell even his talk with Loki was well within character and plausible, especially with his threat. As he has already proven with the destruction of Soma Familia, he has the means to do seriois damage. He is a direct counter to Riveria and Lefiya and the others would be to vulnerable to his tactics. Higher level or not. Especially due to his much better stats and bag of tricks. Loved this chapter and I can't wait to see more no matter how long it takes!

Yea, I was noticing this as well. Casually telling a dangerous and unpredictable goddess that Bell is related to a hated enemy was just plain stupid.

Man, Mikey is letting Loki walk all over him. What’s the deal with your Magic? Is Alfia your mother? Here let me bring Tione instead of Ais purposely to have you teach her instead. Goddess Loki, I literally have no reason to answer anything from you. You are a guest in my house and I’m actively doing you a favor with no tangible benefit whatsoever to myself, stop pushing it. For how he acts towards others he seems pretty passive to her. Other than that good chapter!

HeroX vex

Great as always, this made my day, thanks!

Rhyalys

This chapter was really great! The only minor gripe I had was he said foolish a lot when talking to Heph.

Dirk Gent Lee

Fun chapter. Thanks! Been reloading patreon the entire day lol.

I liked this chapter a lot. Sure, it didn't move the plot forward much, but it covered several important interactions that will bare positive fruit in the future. Your application of Talk No Jutsu was great as well; I found myself agreeing with all of his points and felt that what he said actually had the potential to change the minds of those listening. It didn't feel like the characters suddenly changed their minds because it was the protagonist talking to them, it felt like the MC genuinely shocked them with his blunt and honest take. Additionally, this chapter marked a small but noticeable improvement in the quality of your writing, at least compared to the last few installments. I have been noticing more and more run-on sentences recently, with other errors sprinkled in; This chapter felt much clearer, both in dialogue and monologue. All of this was to say that I think this chapter was great, and that you're doing great things brother. I'm sorry to hear that life has you down, but I have confidence that you have the strength to push through the zoink. Thanks for the chapter!

Great chapter, cant wait for more

Basilisk Basilisk

Good chapter, I like it. Hope Souma finds what he's looking for and I find it interesting that Loki has found out Bell's heritage, heh. She'll come to find out he's as much as a monster as the Silence, heh.

Deathknight134

Hope you still enjoy the chapter despite the drop in quality and tardiness. Have fun, losers.
